Claudia Marcelle Madera Díaz
Bio
Claudia Marcelle is a Karibe-Dominican visionary artist, art therapist, filmmaker, and founder of Mirada Cösmica Estudio. Her approach has expanded to art as a tool for self-discovery and personal evolution, incorporating elements of art therapy within the field of expressive therapies.
As a set designer for film and theater, she has developed a deep understanding of the visual impact of spaces on emotions, exploring how aesthetics, composition, and symbolism can influence sensory perception and experience.
Her painting has been described as “Lucian Freud’s creole disciple,” reflecting her expressive strokes and mastery of body and form. Throughout her career, her art has evolved toward visionary art. In this phase, Claudia uses art as a tool for manifestation, creating images that materialize intentions and align the mind with new possibilities. Her work transcends aesthetics to become a bridge between inner vision and reality, making creativity a conscious act of change.
Through facilitating creative circles, she explores the relationship between creativity and emotional well-being, using art as a means to strengthen emotional awareness and foster processes of introspection and authentic expression.
In all its forms of expression, her art not only seeks beauty but also functions as a vehicle for personal expansion and transformation. Claudia experiences art beyond the canvas, integrating it as a conscious process of creating life.
