Claudia Schwarz is a self-made entrepreneur, Founder of Hotel Villa Taina, champion of Cabarete, philanthropist and keynote speaker.
Claudia was born in Aachen, Germany, on December 16, 1964. She is fluent in German, Spanish, and English. She is a mother of two sons.
Claudia earned her High School Diploma in 1985, graduated as an Industrial Businesswoman in 1987, and completed her MBA in 1988.
That same year, she moved to Cabarete in the Dominican Republic, where she has lived ever since. In 1996, Claudia founded what began as a 12-room bed and breakfast and, through vision, perseverance, and hard work, transformed it into Hotel Villa Taina, a renowned beachfront boutique hotel. By 2016, the hotel had expanded to 64 rooms, becoming a landmark for both international and national visitors. After nearly three decades of success as CEO and Director, the business was sold in 2024.
Beyond hospitality, Claudia is an investor in several companies, manages her own properties, and runs a cattle and cocoa farm. She mentors young entrepreneurs, helping them navigate both business and life.
At her core, Claudia is a Spiritual Explorer, philanthropist, speaker. Passionate about inspiring and uplifting seekers of truth, she shares timeless spiritual principles and personal stories to encourage people to live a life with more love, purpose, and deeper awareness.
